2012, RE:Rotterdam, Rotterdam<\/h2>\n

For RE:Rotterdam, I developed a tall, cylindrical work with a 5-meter diameter, constructed from blue facade profile sheet, designed as a space to be entered, but couldn\u2019t. Both the title \u2013 \u201cSudden panic, the doorbell, muffled sound so ominously tearing through silence\u201d \u2013 and the dimensions and materials provoke a response: the viewer feels out the work, searching for an entrance. As they walk around the piece, the graffiti-like marking of red lipstick on the blue surface catches the eye. In this work, the visitor becomes a participant and \u2018accomplice,\u2019 with their expectations put to the test.<\/h3>\n
